World's End-Cont'd

As the countdown to Armageddon continues to march forward inexorably like sands running out of an hour glass,I would like to share some light hearted banter with you for a moment. Big Blue, er the[New Jersey Giants?] after all, that's where they play their home games,no?  Well no big deal, the Giants are looking for some kind of revenge this weekend, you can count on that. So-Peyton's been nursing sore ankles huh? I don't wanna seem like I'm knocking you, I mean I think your a personable and very likeable person, but I just gotta give you my opinion.

Methinks you put too much pressure on yourself in big games or in games that mean a whole lot to you and thus you end up defeating your self, next time the playoffs arrive, relax and take it easy. Of course that is just my opinion, and you know, opinions are like..... every body's got one, ha ha ha,. Can the Jets fly over the Bengals? or will the roar of the Tiger's lair shake the pilot and crew of the Jets? tune in Sunday and find out if Seattle has what it takes, while the Patriots take on the Dolphins. In the words of my son "The who?  And speaking of Dolphins this subject brings us once again to Water!
In the Movie "A Quantum of Solace" we find our hero James Bond up against some nefarious villains that are hoarding- Water. Perhaps an indicator of things to come.We all [ at least most of us] presume that clean drinking water problems are only the concerns of developing or third world countries, some remote village in Africa, or in the mountains of South America. But wait a sec, before I get serious, Kudos to Clarence J for his enlightening article on socks in the survival blog. I always used to hear "put a sock in it" but wow, you made me to realize there's almost 50 ways to utilize socks, and I thought it was only to cover the peg when it squirted after hand use, har de har har.
If you didn't get the joke, lets move on to serious business. While we have access to water purifiers and filters{some of us} there are unseen chemicals in the water supply that some of these filters will not remove. Just because you may not be able to see it with the naked eye doesn't mean it's not there.
Sure we can't see carbon monoxide or Radon gases but inhale enough of either gas and you'll be pushing up daisies. In many places right here, drinking water from a stream could be highly toxic as TCE and Benzene along with Xylene have been working their way into the water supply with increasing frequency.Having water that's usable to cook, take care of your general hygiene without worrying about it's toxicity is fast becoming a rarity. Soon those of us with the ingenuity will have to be garnering our own water supply.
Remember Rev;22 vs 1 there will be no more sea; now bear in mind that in the beginning God made man from the dust of the Earth, and that the waters brought forth man and every living creature. As such we should also bear in mind that our bodies are comprised of 80% water, or 90%, I'm not certain as to the exact amount, but you get the idea. Safe drinking of your water please, and live well, be happy, make love, We Bid You Peace
